Rite-Hite first rose to prominence as a manufacturer of loading dock equipment with an original product line that consisted primarily of dock levelers and vehicle restraint systems. However, with its 1991 acquisition of Frommelt Industries, Dubuque, Iowa, Rite-Hite’s materials handling lineup was significantly broadened to include industrial power doors, cold storage doors, impact doors, dock seals and shelters, and a full complement of aftermarket products.

Rite-Hite directly employs approximately 1400 world-wide, and maintains more than 30 different representative organizations at over 100 locations throughout Asia, Europe and North and South America.
